Majik Box pedals are manufactured in Torrance, CA. Most of the assembly and wiring is done by hand, one by one and then are tested, loud and proud through one of many great amps in the Majik Box collection (hey, that’s the fun part) before shipping to your doorstep.
How can I buy a Majik Box pedal?
We sell direct to our customers via our website to just about anywhere in the world. If you have a mailing address, we can get it to you. Or, better still, you can buy from an authorized dealer in your area. We’re adding new dealers all the time.
Why can’t I find a Majik Box pedal in a store?
If you’re in the U.S., we currently sell direct only to our customers via our website. If you’re in any area out of the U.S., and cannot find our pedals in a store, please ask your favorite store to contact us. Of course, you can buy a pedal direct from us, unless you happen to live in Japan.
Why can’t I buy a pedal direct from you if I live in Japan?

Which AC adapter should I use?
You must use a center negative tip adapter only. If you’re unsure if the adapter you plan to use is center negative tip, please email us at: info@majikboxusa.com. Adapters for pedals such as the Fulltone ’69, Soul Bender, Octafuzz, Moogerfooger pedals and many Electro-Harmonix pedals are center positive. Do not use a center positive pedal with a Majik Box pedal, as doing so, will render the pedal inoperable. Also, there is a known compatibility issue with the Boss BCB60 carrying case / AC adapter. Please refrain from using the Boss BCB60 with any Majik Box pedals.
Where in my effects chain should I place my Micro Buff?
No hard and fast rules with a buffer, but generally early in the chain. We would suggest, however, that it be placed after any real fuzz type devices or wah wah pedals.
What is the difference between the Fuzz Universe and the Rocket Fuel?
They both share the same boost section, but the overdrive sections are quite different. The Rocket Fuel features an overdrive section that was originally designed to be used as a replacement for Doug’s old favorite PQ3 EQ, which he was using kind of as a mid boost / overdrive box for leads and heavy rhythm parts.
The Fuzz Universe was developed to give Paul, the versatility he needs in an overdrive, which he needs for his rhythm and lead playing – giving him a thick sound for rhythm parts that require it, and allowing the perfect amount of pick attack to keep up with the amazing speed of his picking hand for solos.
Does Majik Box have an endorsement program?
We don’t really have one. From day one, we’ve worked with a variety of artists and with some exceptions, have asked them nicely to purchase our pedals the same way everybody does. However, if you are a notable Majik Box pedal user, and you would like to be featured on our website, please send us a suitable photo, some music and bio or a link to all those via email, and we will probably put your photo up there!
Does Majik Box still do pedal mods?
Unfortunately, we no longer offer pedal mods. Building and developing our original pedals basically takes up all of our time so we shuttered that rather fun part of our business in 2010.
Can you customize a pedal for me?
Although we’d like to, we rarely customize our pedals for customers, due to the fact that it’s usually time prohibitive. If it’s something simple, and you can wait, then maybe – we will quote you a price if we can accommodate you. Exceptions are customizations on any of our signature pedals. We cannot customize these at all, since they are the way they are, because that’s what the artist wanted.
What is the Majik Box return policy?
Here is our return policy in detail:
-All products come with a 10-day money back guarantee. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with your purchase you may return it within 10 calendar days for a full refund (less shipping costs).
-Guarantee only applicable to new units bought directly through majikboxusa.com.
-If you are not satisfied with your purchase of a product, please email info@majikboxusa.com for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) request within 10 calendar days of the receipt of the product. You must return the product to the address provided with the RMA within 14 calendar days of the issuance of the RMA. All products must be packed in the original packaging including any accessories, manuals that shipped with the product. The RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the box.
NOTE: Majik Box recommends that you (1) use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns and (2) either insure your package for safe return to Majik Box or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are completely protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you choose not to (1) use a carrier that offers tracking or (2) insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping.
-Any product returned without an RMA number will be rejected and returned to the sender. Any product that is not received within 14 calendar days of the RMA issuance will be rejected and returned to the sender.
-All shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. The amount of the refund shall be the original purchase price less any shipping and handling costs.
-Units must be returned in as-new condition to qualify for a refund. We reserve the right to deny a return in the case of excessive wear or signs of abuse. Any products returned with missing materials may be assessed a 10% restocking fee that will be deducted from the refund amount.
-Once the returned product is received at our facility, all refunds will be processed within 5 business days.
What is the warranty to original owner?
We offer a one year comprehensive warranty for all parts and labor, due to manufacturing or parts defects. You pay for shipping to us, and we’ll pay for the shipping back.

-We can generally get your pedal fixed and shipped out within 10 working days of receipt.
What if my pedal is in need of repair but out of warranty?
-We will do our best to get you back up and running quickly.
-For any Majik Box pedal out of warranty, please email info@majikboxusa.com for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) request. We will provide a rough estimate of the repair cost plus shipping along with the RMA. You must return the product to the address provided with the RMA within 14 calendar days of the issuance of the RMA. The RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the box.
-Once we receive your pedal and get it on the bench, we will email you a detailed description of the problem, and the actual cost of the repair plus shipping.
